Tara, yes, I loved living amongst the mountains. The air was so incredibly fresh there and the scenery and exercise were wonderful. Somehow I was a little homesick, but I think I could have got over that!

Shannon, thanks for taking part. I enjoyed reading your Honest Scrap too.

Kathy, that is just a little eerie. I guess great minds think alike! Thanks for sharing here. Now I want to come up and visit Colorado and eat soup and bread (and chips) with my new-found think-alike. I wonder what flavor you like…

Great post, Alison. I did one of these awards back in Oct 2009 http://gardeningfornature.blogspot.com/2009/10/honest-scrap-award-mother-nature.html but I was too shy to say things about myself, so picked Mother Nature instead. It is so eerie how many of your things are the same as mine in real life. Numbers 1, 3 (C++ instead of Cobol, but very techy just the same),5 and 7 are identical. And, of course 10 is a given. Thanks for sharing so I know you better.

Now I’m quite embarrassed by the lovely comments. It goes to prove that what I said is true, “I have some really wonderful friends.” And this is not a full list by any stretch of the imagination.
