Tuesdays at Loving Nature’s Garden are now going to be used to showcase green blogs, or rather Green Bloggers, because it’s really about the people. It’s something I’ve talked about doing, it’s even something I’ve written about doing, but upto now I’ve failed to do it. Now is the time!
I’ve been wrestling for some months with my commitment to share good news from the green scene on Tuesdays. Every week there are good things to share and I do love to keep things positive. However, it’s a personal failing of mine, if you want to call it that, that I just don’t read the news. That’s not to say that I’ve no clue what is happening in the world…
So much of the news is sensationalist and fear-inducing. I thought to reverse that somewhat by contributing good green news on Tuesdays, but my heart isn’t in it. I get to read plenty of green news brought to me through Twitter – you’d think it would be easy for me to write about. But what I care about is people and somehow it’s hard for me to to get news down to the personal level.
So Tuesdays will now be green blogs and green bloggers day. I’ll be showcasing green bloggers, what they write about, where they live, whom their other green bloggy friends are, and what I like about them and their blogs.
