The Spirit of the Land

As I look at the people, the places, and the countries where I go, I see that, economically speaking, they are very powerful, and in a material way have everything they need. My people do not have the technology, the money, the buildings – but we do have our forests and we are happier. Many non-indigenous people do not understand that because of their greed they have lost contact with their spirituality and the spirit of the land. It is something that hurts me to see.
