Our Earth Hour: We have a couple of wind up LED flashlights, but we did use some candles. That was the draw for the six year old. ;o)

I think the Earth Hour is a good idea but it needs to be marketed differently to get more participation. I know one person who did not do it because of her opinions about global warming. When I told her to look at it from the energy conservation perspective, she was more open to the idea.

I also think they should encourage turning off all electronics as well as the lights and maybe try for a weekly, or at least monthly, event.

Peace and Laughter,
Cristina
