Give it a try Ann, then come back and share.

I've gone back to buying tomato plants from a local company. Tomato seeds which came up in the garden really didn't produce a yield for me. I've had the most success when I buy large plants (3-5 gallon sized) and put them in - they have such a headstart.

Last weekend I bought 3 gallon peat pot tomato plants with lots of flowers and a few tomatoes already on them. They came with a growing cage and cost $20 per plant. I thought it was a pretty good deal.

I'm a lazy gardener too, googling around the internet trying to find confirmation that it's ok to sew seeds outside without bothering with little peat pots. I hope your number 10 list entry worked out for you and will work out for me!
