Spring Greens Growing

Tulip green shoots of spring poking through the leaves of fall.
Pretty white and green snowdrops. My favorite spring flower.
Cabbage greens resprouting after the winter.
Onion greens – from seeds planted in the fall, regrowing. I can’t wait for harvest!

Is there anything green growing in your garden?

Oh I’m so jealous Alison! We just got 8 more inches of snow dumped on us today. Phooey.

Are you serious? Green is growing somewhere? Not in Maine :) We are only growing more snow right now.

    But soon….

    Love,

Jodi, provided snow is ‘normal’ for you at this time that’s good isn’t it? As hard as it is to wait for spring…

It’s interesting that bulbs flower here at almost the same time as they do in my home part of Scotland. Trees come into leaf earlier here though, from what I recall.

I have a small patch of snowdrops, and several patches of crocus. It’s very exciting. The tulips are coming up but probably won’t bloom for another 2-3 weeks. Hyacinth too.
