There is a lot of green news around. It seems the biggest challenge is choosing which place/s to get your news. Here is a small sampling of sites which serve up green news:
- Environmental News Network – ENN
- National Geographic Environmental News – National Geographic
- Green Consumer News at The Daily Green – Daily Green
- Environment News at Yahoo Green – Yahoo Green
- Green Technology News – Green Energy News
- Treehugger is always good for a bit of green news – Treehugger
Major publishing and broadcasting houses also have their environmental/green news, which can be surprisingly difficult to ferret out at their sites. At one site it’s under news, at another under science, at yet another under technology, and someplace else it’s under lifestyle. Some news sites don’t seem to cover the environment at all. Hmmm… this makes me wonder, if every major media outlet had a segment of their news devoted to the environment, would we be in a better state and understand the issues better?
- New York Times on the environment – New York Times
- Los Angeles Times on the environment – Los Angeles Times
- MSNBC has an Environmental News section – MSNBC
- Environmental Solutions at CNN – CNN
- San Francisco Chronicle on the environment – San Francisco Chronicle
- Washington Post Green – Washington Post
- Environment section at The Christian Science Monitor
- At The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and the Chicago Tribune I couldn’t even find a segment on the environment.
Do you have a favorite place to read green news?
